Last newsletter of the year - 6/6/24

Dear St. George Families,

News

  • Congratulations to our Class of 2024 who celebrated their graduation Tuesday night.  Eighteen students will be headed off to our Catholic Schools: O’Dea, Holy Names, Seattle Prep, and Kennedy Catholic.  One moved on to Raisbeck Aviation and eight to various public high schools in the area. We wish them the best in their next journey and will hold all of the students and their families in our prayers. Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon!

  • CYO NEWS: Congratulations to Coach AI and the St. George Track Team.  Our team consisting of students in Grades 4-8, won for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, the MOST SPRITIED SCHOOL.  That is a record for CYO to have a school win that consecutively!  I told the students I consider this the BEST award in CYO because it celebrates the character of our players and fans.  We come together to cheer each other on.  We win with pride and lose with dignity!

  • Our school office will be closing on June 28th for the summer.  We will send a final email with Back-to-School news and calendars before we head off.  If you have questions over the summer, you can email mwingard@saintgeorgeseattle.org or Jebreo@saintgeorgeseattle.org. We will be checking emails periodically.

  • For those of you who are attending Summer School, you will receive a special email about that that next week.
