BIO
Ms. Gretchen Seibel
4th Grade Homeroom
I grew up in Plymouth, Michigan (in the Metro-Detroit area) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University majoring in Elementary Education specializing in Language Arts and Italian. I spent a year in Milan, Italy as an English Teaching Assistant. As a member of the teaching Master’s program, Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE), I graduated with a Masters in Education from the University of Portland with an ESOL endorsement.
I have loved teaching fourth grade over the years. I am very excited to be joining the Saint George family and I am looking forward to becoming a part of the wonderful community! As a teacher, I enjoy helping students learn through creative lessons to promote the goals of literacy, critical-thinking, problem solving, collaboration skills and applications to everyday life for all students. When I’m not in the classroom, I love to read, play board and card games with family and friends, travel and enjoy the outdoors by hiking or kayaking!
