Our Art Classes are about having fun, exploring materials and being creative. We are always working hard to develop a positive attitude, bring passion and a growth mindset towards the art-making process. The goal is for students to love and enjoy art as a joyful and meaningful part of our culture and community.

 

In our Art Classes, students get to explore various visual arts media and techniques to create a variety of projects, art genres and movements throughout the school year.

 

Art Studio practice is an important part of our learning, as students learn how to care for materials and artwork.

  

We often explore art through an international lens, exploring the intersections of personal expression, creativity, and global citizenship. 

 

At St. George, our art curriculum is designed by age groups:

• K - 2nd grade

• 3rd - 5th grade  

• 6th - 8th grade

 

We also offer co curriculum classes. They are advanced art classes focused only for our Middle School students.
