Open PTA Positions 2013-2014

PTA Secretary
Duties include attending monthly meetings, taking minutes and preparing a list of unfinished business for next meeting. Prior to each meeting preparing an agenda. Leading meetings when President and Vice President are not available. Communicate with business office prior to each meeting for current PTA balance. Be present and willing to help out at PTA sponsored events.
Approx. 40 hrs.

Room Parent-2 per Class
Room Parent's serve as the critical liaisons between teacher, PTA and class parents. Duties include attending monthly PTA meetings, communication about and assisting with school wide events and activities. Responsible for organizing Halloween Carnival booth, Holiday Bazaar project, Spring Auction basket and one Bake Sale.
Encourage parent involvement and participation!
Approx. 25 hrs. per RP

Volunteer Coordinator
Prepare sign-ups for all school wide parent volunteer opportunities. Organize volunteer lists and provide to "Chairperson" or school office depending on the event or activity. Coordinate volunteers for PTA sponsored events and activities only. Organize Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. Be prepared to recruit volunteers if needed for PTA sponsored events.
Approx. 40 hrs.
