Raise money for St. George While Doing Your Everyday Shopping Scrip is Fundraising While you ShopTM
Did you know you can raise money for our organization while doing your everyday shopping? All you have to do
is purchase gift cards from America's favorite retailers and use them in place of cash, checks, or credit
cards for purchases you were going to make anyway. Each card purchase carries an associated "contribution" of
2-15% or more.
Students at
St. George are encouraged to go on a scavenger hunt in their own homes to look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of
products. Clip Box Tops and earn cash for our school. Deposit in the container near front office.
Earn cash for our school just by saving the labels from some of the foods that you already eat at home. Many food
labels can be collected and turned in to raise money for our school; not just Campbell's Soup Labels. Check the
attached page to see other participating products. Deposit the labels in the Campbell's Soup container near the school
office. For more information on how this program raises money for our school, visit the official website.

Hooray!!!! The Harvest Festival was a very successful event!! I want to thank all of you for a great job!! Everyone worked so hard and it paid off! We raised over $1100.00 after expenses for the PTA fund. This is $300 more than we brought in from the same event last year.
The second graders won the Pumpkin Carving contest and will receive an ice Cream party for their efforts. Joy Aquino won the teacher drawing and received a $25 Barnes and Nobel gift card.
Next event is the Halloween Carnival. Lets all start concentrating on that. Cindy will be heading this event. Remember this is really big and she can't do it herself. She will need a lot of help.
PTA will have a table to sell items, As of now, we will be selling; cotton candy, popcorn, dragon snot (slime) and maybe some stash bags. All ideas are welcome. BUT REMEMBER....... We don't want to pay much for these items. The object is to raise funds not spend them!
Keep those ideas coming!!
