I moved to
Seattle in April of 2008 from Helena, Montana where I worked in preschool for the past 6 years. I am a 2007 graduate of Carroll College with a B.A. in
Elementary Education and an endorsement in Special Education. I am finishing up my Masters in Educational Technology this year.
In addition to my teaching experiences I have spent two summers working with children from inner-city New York, one year working in a children's home/treatment facility in Helena, Montana, and have spent many hours at a Catholic School for children from inner-city Rochester, New York with Auditory Processing Disorder. I am very honored to be part of the St. George community. The 2011-2012 school year is my fourth year at St. George.
Kindergarten is such a fun year! I love the excitement and curiosity my students bring to my classroom everyday. There is never a dull moment! I want all of my students to have a fabulous learning experience their kindergarten year. Whether a child has spent years in school prior to kindergarten or whether kindergarten is their first time in a structured learning environment each day is filled with a new learning adventure.
