Our Principal
Bernadette O'Leary

Almost twenty five years ago, Bernadette O'Leary traveled from the Emerald Isle to the Emerald City and found St. George Parish School. Little did she know then that the community was to become her home away from home. She originally started as the sixth grade teacher in 1988, but has also taught seventh and eighth grades, held the vice-principal position, and completed a Master's Degree in Educational Administration at Seattle University.

In addition to serving as principal, she is also a parent at St. George. "My daughter was baptized at a school mass, surrounded by the students and the St. George parishioners. We love St. George! We work, pray, serve, and play with a very loving community! I am always amazed and humbled by the dedication and generosity of the teachers, parents and friends of St. George. St. George community truly lives out its mission to provide the children with strong Catholic values and a robust academic foundation." Bernadette O'Leary hopes to be among the servant leaders of St. George for many years to come.
