St. George Parish School 1st Grade Class
Mrs. Joy Aquino
I have had the pleasure of teaching first grade at St. George
since 1996. The bright, happy faces that greet me each morning
make my day! I love the diversity and the close-knit community we
have here at school! Our school is indeed a very special place! I
feel so lucky!
Before coming to St. George, I attended both public and private
elementary schools. I really enjoyed my years at St. Edward's
and Holy Names Academy! Then I went on to pursue my undergraduate
degree at the University of Washington, my teaching certificate
at Seattle Pacific University, and a Master's in Education
degree from Seattle University. Not only do I enjoy teaching and
learning in the classroom, but I also enjoy taking classes and
