As you know, in CYO Athletics, we talk about how we compete as one community. We are also called to service of and making a difference in our community. We are striving to do that by providing resources to the Food Bank at St. Mary's at both our All Comers and Individual Championship Meets at SW Complex.
Donation area will be set up above the stadium across from the concession stand from 10-3pm on Saturday, May 18.
Thanks for your generosity of time, talent and treasure!
Congratulations to coach Harris and the 8th grade girls for winning the CYO AAA Basketball championship yesterday. It was a nail biter to the very end! We are proud of the tenacity and character the girls showed in coming back from an 11 point deficit. They never gave up and they kept their focus on the court and in their schoolwork!!! I was also very proud of the sportsmanship and compassion they showed to the St. Luke team during the awards ceremony.
And a specially thanks to Mr. Harris who made the fans feel as much apart of the team as the girls. On three, one, two three ... ST. GEORGE!
Hi Parents, the student track forms for 4th thru 8th grade students need to be turned in to the school by 4/26. Our first practice is tomorrow from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Franklin HS.
Please come join us for a fun season of running sprints, relay races, and participating in various field events. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged.
We will have practices each Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Please ask the students to coordinate with their friends if they need a ride or will have trouble getting there. We have fewer practices this season so it is important that they make it on time to each practice.

Congratulations to St. George's CYO Track and Field Team. The 5th and 7th grade boys won First Place in their respective age level divisions as did the 4th and 7th grade girls. The St. George girls also took home the First Place Overall league championship for girls. And for the second year in a row, our team collectively won the First Place Team Division. A special recognition goes to Thomas Stowers in 7th grade who broke an old CYO record for the 200m dash! St. George kids sure have fast feet! Thanks to Mr. Rittman and his coaches for all the hours of 3x week practices, meets and preparation for the meets including organizing the Mile Club during his lunch hour every Tuesday! This was Mr. Rittman's last year as the Head Coach for CYO Track and Field. We are most grateful for his selfless leadership in building such a successful program at St. George these last four years. If anyone is interested in taking the reigns as Head Coach for track next year, please let us know.
