Auction Items Needed By Friday

Posted on February 28, 2014

Dear Families,

As many of you heard last night, we need MORE items for our auction. Our customers desire a variety of items to bid on!!!

Many of us are last minute folks, and this causes great stress for the parent committee who is chairing this event. We are asking families to bring in their items by next Friday, March 7th in order to receive fundraising credit for this school year. Also, if you haven't turned in your modest cash donation or product for your class basket, contact your room parent ASAP... they are waiting to hear from you!

With all of us working together, this auction/dinner/dance will be sure to be the best ever!

Incentives:

  • A Free dress pass for any child whose family has donated an item by next Friday the 7th…to be given out on 3/10
  • A pizza and ice cream party for the class with the most items donated (qty)… date to be determined.

Ideas... small kitchen appliances, tools, housewares, kids toys, tickets to events, activities around the city, dinner gift certificates, hotels gift certificates, themed baskets, electronic devices, games systems, athletic gear/sports memorabilia, anything you would be excited to purchase if you saw it!

Don't forget to turn in your RSVP reservations. Attached is the invitation.

Thanks!!
Monica

Hello Families,

It is time to get your tickets for the event of the year on Beacon Hill: The St. George Auction, Dinner and Dance!

This year's theme is Puttin' on the Ritz... get out that roaring 20's costume and practice your Charleston!

Doors to the silent auction open at 5:00, and dinner begins about 7:00PM

Dinner tables seat 8, so gather your friends, and send in your group reservations soon as we only have seating for 192.

Let's celebrate our love for our St George kids, and the community we are building around them.

Soliciation Tips and Guidelines

Start Early!
Starting early will beat the rush and avoid competing with other area auctions next spring. While you are doing your holiday shopping, please take a minute with your favorite vendor to solicit a donation to the auction. Continue to solicit and follow-up in early January.

Who has the School Already Contacted?
Solicitations are being sent to vendors from last year for donations to the auction and some new businesses. Please take a moment to check the list of vendors already solicited (attached and on the website) before you reach out to your contacts... read complete post »
