Dear Parents,

Our Vita Bella auction was a success!

As you know, the annual St. George Auction is our biggest fundraising event. The money raised helps us to maintain and improve our curriculum opportunities for children as well as gives added support to our Georgian Scholarship Fund. By our initial records, we did well!

I want to express my sincere thanks to our wonderful auction committee members who have been planning and organizing since last November. Most especially, I'd like to thank Elissa Martino who generously took on the role of chair and held all the reigns efficiently and calmly.

I'd also graciously thank all of you parents who volunteered in numerous ways: creating decorations, moving furniture, setting tables, displaying donations, gathering supplies, washing dishes, spotting, guarding, hosting, cooking, cleaning up and more! The only way this fundraising event was possible is because so many parents stepped in to help. We make a great team, parents!

Lastly, I'd like to thank all the attendees who came with a positive spirit to celebrate the fabulous community we have at St. George. The bidding wars over desserts, class projects and other items was all in good fun and in support of a school that we hold dear to our hearts.

I personally enjoyed the chance to visit with parents and other supporters of our school. It was great fun watching you chat, laugh and enjoy each other. It is the warm, generous hearts which you hold and nurture in your children that make our community so welcoming and famous!

Gratefully,
Monica Wingard
